2. Katere podatke zbiramo
2.1 Account Data
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — for authentication and communication
- Full name — to identify you within groups
- Password — securely hashed, never stored in plain text
2.2 Profile Data
To improve your experience and enable features like discover filters, we collect:
- Date of birth — to calculate age for activity matching
- Gender — for activity filter preferences
- City / location — to show nearby activities on the map
- GPS coordinates — when you use the "my location" feature (only with your permission)
2.3 Activity Data
When you use the app, we store:
- Groups — groups you create or join
- Activities & events — activities you create, events you register for
- Registration data — your sign-ups, waitlist entries, and attendance
- Messages — content of messages in group chats
2.4 Location Data
We collect location data in two contexts:
- Event locations — coordinates you set when creating activities or events
- Your location — when you use the discover map to find nearby activities (only with explicit permission)
3. Kako uporabljamo vaše podatke
- Account management: To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and reset your password
- App functionality: To enable group creation, event management, registration, and chat
- Discovery: To show discoverable activities on the map and filter them by age, gender, and distance
- Communication: To display your name to group members and facilitate group chat
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for account creation and profile data. Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for app functionality.
4. Deljenje podatkov
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Group members: Your name and registration status are visible to members of groups you join
- Discover map: Event details (name, location, time, available spots) are visible to all users for discoverable events. Your personal data is NOT shown.
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider, processing data within the EU. Supabase Privacy Policy
- OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: For map tiles and geocoding. No personal data is transmitted.
5. Hramba podatkov & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with the following security measures:
- Row Level Security (RLS) — ensures users can only access data they are authorized to see
- HTTPS/TLS encryption — all data transmission is encrypted
- Secure authentication — passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- EU data processing — data is processed within the European Union
6. Vaše pravice (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — update your profile information directly in the app
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and all associated data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — limit how we process your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

7. Hramba podatkov
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Upon deletion request: Personal data is removed within 30 days
- Chat messages: Deleted when the group is deleted
- Anonymized data: Past event records may be retained for group history
8. Zasebnost otrok
SubIn is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Analitika & Tracking
SubIn does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services within the mobile application. We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral data.
10. Spremembe politike
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
